Bam

be my buddy
Labrador Retriever Mix
Born: 12/28/2010
Medium
44 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Bloomingdale, IL.

Bam was a stray, either lost or tossed out, scouring the streets of a small town here in Nebraska for food, shelter and maybe some love. When we got word that he had ended up at the pound, we zoomed right over to save this wonderful dog from being put down only because of overcrowding. And he IS a wonderful dog. Bam is young, energetic, active, friendly and SMART. He is showing us some grand tricks that he has taught himself. He'll do anything to please us and bring smiles to our faces. He loves running the agility yard and absolutely bounces with delight when a toy is presented to him. He has the cutest expressions and we know he is one happy camper when people are around to play with him. Bam will be the perfect addition to a family who does lots of fun stuff and wants a great dog to join in the adventures.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Nancey Evans, from Charleston, West Virginia, sent him this message: "Hi Bam, I was scanning the website and noticed that no one had yet claimed you as a buddy. I think everyone needs a buddy and you look so friendly. My name is Jackson and I am a small Yorkie, please let me be your buddy!" Bam sends Jackson and his lovely mom Nancey many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
