Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Beckham was in awful shape when he was brought into the Animal Emergency Clinic. He had stones blocking his urinary tract, and so much time had elapsed that he was going into shock. His family left him to be euthanized, and HUA was called to help. Beckham had surgery not only to relieve his existing condition but also to take steps to make sure it would not happen again. He eats a special diet, also, to prevent future stones from forming. He is such a happy little guy who loves life. No one would guess he had been through such a horrible experience.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddies, Gina and Nellie, from New York, sent him this message: "Hey Beckham....we are both former guests at the HUA clubhouse...and we are glad they rescued you! Paws crossed that the perfect family falls in love with you...you are so handsome!!!!hugs and kisses to you and all the pups and cats and people at HUA....xoxo Nellie and Gina" Beckham sends furkids Nellie and Gina many grateful doxie kisses and lots of hugs to their parents, too!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
