Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Pasadena, Maryland.

Belinda is another victim of the horrendous puppy millers in South Dakota. As with most Maltese pups that come out of the mills, she was covered in filth and mats, with nails curling into the pads of her tiny feet. Sweet Belinda, however, doesn't have a mean bone in her petite, 6 pound body. Armed now with a gorgeous haircut, clipped fingernails and newly found freedom, she is an absolute delight. She loves everybody and plays, wags, skips with glee. She is so charming and wiggles all around the place at recess time. Belinda is one of those dogs we just marvel at. How this little girl could go from such a cruel beginning to personality PLUS amazes us.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Erin Buda, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Little Belinda, you are such a darling. So glad you are now safe and well cared for!" Belinda sends Erin many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
