Blythe

be my buddy
Dachshund
Born: 04/27/2003
Small
11 lbs
Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Blythe came from one of the most notorious puppy mills in Nebraska. She was so happy to be rescued, so affectionate, so sweet...all this in spite of the pain she was in from having one of the most horrible mouth infections we have seen. She had huge holes in her upper jaw that went up into her sinus cavity and her teeth were a mess. It took 3 operations to close the holes in her jaw caused from infection due to lack of care and multiple rounds of antibiotics to clear the infection. Blythe is now well and happier than ever. Her tail wags constantly, she does happy dances of joy and she showers us with kisses. She is so very affectionate and sweet, just totally, completely adorable! Blythe is a female Dachshund. She was born 4/27/03 and weighs 11 pounds.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Carol Hermann, from Greeley, Colorado, sent her this message: "You are such a pretty little girl and are so lucky to now be in the loving care of HUA. They will do everything in their power to find you the perfect forever home." Blythe sends Carol many happy, grateful Dachshund girl kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
