Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bonn came to us from an auction in Missouri in the spring. She was sold for an astounding 25 cents. When she arrived, her coat had been shaven so severely that there were bare patches and sores on her skin. She lost 25 teeth due to infection in her mouth. She quickly made the decision, however, that she was going to enjoy all the wonders of good food, a good bed and good friends. Bonn struts her stuff during exercise time, with not a care in the world. She is making the very best of her temporary home until her forever one comes along.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Janeen Sullivan, from Dearborn, Michigan, sent her this message: "Sold for 25 cents?! That is no way to treat a beautiful girl! So glad you are with HUA now. You are safe, and will soon have a home of your very own! I'm sending you all my love, little girl. Blessings to you, and HUA, who gives sweet souls like you a second chance!" Bonn sends Janeen many happy, grateful kisses and hugs.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
