Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in New Jersey.

Boolou is a fun, happy, amazingly good-looking girl. She reminds us of a gorgeous teddy bear. Boolou was rescued from a South Dakota puppy mill. She suffered from an eye infection, which has now cleared up with drops. She lost 6 teeth at her first vet visit and is so happy to be pain free. She flashes us big, happy smiles all day long and strikes some awesome poses for the camera. She has heard about other dogs at the shelter getting to go to "families" and she thinks that sounds pretty neat. She is enjoying her time at HUA, loving the people and loving to run and play outside with the other dogs, but she thinks that having a human family of her very own sounds really amazing. She is sure to entertain and be a delight to the lucky family who comes along to adopt her.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Margaret Aalberg, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "You have such a beautiful face and we know that you’ll find your furever home very soon. Lots of love—the Aalbergs" Boolou sends Margaret and her lovely family many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
