Brinkley

be my buddy
English Springer Spaniel
Born: 07/10/2002
Large
47 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Brinkley came to HUA with two other lovely dogs, surrendered by their owner who advised one of our directors that if we did not take them in, he would either shoot them or dump them. It was 100 degrees that day. Obviously we were horrified. We ushered Brinkley and his pals right on in the door and ushered that awful man right out the door. Brinkley was dirty and slightly anemic, but in otherwise fairly good shape. Despite his past interactions with humans, he is the sweetest, most polite gentleman ever to grace these good grounds. He is so kind, so gentle, so loving. We don't think he'd even hurt a spider. Brinkley is friends with all of the other dogs here and does not have to be adopted out with his buddies that came to us alongside of him. He simply needs a home with people who will love him with all their hearts for his remaining years. We don't know of a more deserving animal.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
