Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, NE.

What do you say about a dog like Bro? Only that he is the best of all his breed, typical in every way, supremely loving and undeniably happy. Bro was brought to the pound in a small town very near the shelter, and we were called upon to take him in. We have lots of Labs. We have even more big dogs. Sometimes it is a struggle to find room, but we knew this was a dog to be cherished and we did what we had to to save him. Bro is a truly wonderful animal. He is kind and gentle and healthy as a horse. He is energetic but not overly so. He is obedient and sweet. Bro has never met a stranger and has a great time when kids visit. He is nice to the other dogs and happy just to be loved. Bro will do great in just about any type of family. He is affable and agreeable and just very much wants to go now to his forever home.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Ann Tschetter, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "You look like a great guy, Buddy! Flash, Shadow, and Daisy send you lots of doggy hugs and kisses. We know you'll get your forever home soon!" Bro sends Ann, Flash, Shadow and Daisy many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
