be my buddy
Born: 10/03/2008
6 lbs

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lexington, Kentucky.

Chance came from a family who didn't have time for him. They purchased him on a whim and found out that dogs require time and care. While that is horribly sad for Chance, we will find him a wonderful home, one that realizes the commitment and treats him as a family member, not a toy to be discarded. Chance is a playful little guy who loves to give hugs and kisses. He is just so very adorable! He is upset that he lost his home and fearful with new people, but once he trusts them he is all love and affection. He is a very sweet soul who has been hurt by losing his home. We hope that Chance will get a home of his own again soon. Chance is a male Chihuahua. He was born 10/03/08 and weighs 5.6 pounds.

His Buddy, Carolyne Joseph, from Edmonds, Washington, sent him this message: "Hi Chance, I saw you and fell in love. I wish I could bring you home with me, but that is not possible, so I will be your buddy until you find a forever home. Carolyne" Chance sends Carolyne many happy, grateful Chihuahua boy kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
