Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Falls City, Nebraska.

Chiclet is an itty bitty, delicate, PRECIOUS slip of a thing. She was bred by a puppy miller in South Dakota who was trying to make "micro" Dachshunds by pairing them with Chihuahuas. The result was a dog who is way too tiny to be bred. At least the miller had sense enough to know that. Breeding Chiclet could have killed her. As is obvious from her photos, she is beyond beautiful. She loves to be carried around so she can see what's going on. Other than during play time, Chiclet believes that she should be toted everywhere as she is, and should be treated as such, a tiny princess. We are sure that if we had a tutu or a sundress small enough to fit her, she'd prance around, showing her stuff to everyone. We don't have any fancy harnesses with diamonds and pearls, but Chiclet would like that, too. Our little girl deserves some very serious spoiling, and we have promised her that this is just what she will get once we pick out her perfect home.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
