Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Columbus, Nebraska.

Cora was spotted by several different people running around the countryside in a small town in Nebraska. Kind folks finally stopped to save her and brought her to a vet's office. From there, she landed at HUA. She is a darling dog. She was a bit reserved when she arrived, as with most strays who have no idea what is happening to them. She has shown us that she can be spunky and silly, and has decided that hugging her people is a favorite past time. She loves the sunshine upon her gorgeous face and prefers tickles behind the ears. Coora is young and healthy and the perfect candidate for a family that needs a SUPER CUTE pup to liven things up.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Susan Calef, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Coora, what a cutie you are! And how lucky you were that those kind people noticed you running around alone in the countryside and rescued you. I know the good people at HUA will get you a good "furever" home real soon. In the meantime, I am happy to be your buddy. Since it is a short trip from Omaha, I hope to visit you this summer." Coora sends Sue many happy, grateful hugs and kisses and looks forward to her visit.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
