Cupcake

be my buddy
Min Pin mix
Born: 12/30/2009
Small
9 lbs
Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Cupcake is one of the lucky ones. Her mother, Esme was found giving birth under a house during the freezing Nebraska winter. Our main caregiver literally crawled into her space, and rescued Esme as she was having her babies (see story and pictures on our blog). Cupcake was born into warmth and surrounded by love from the HUA staff. Esme is a min pin mix. The puppies appear to have some labrador in them and will probably be a bit bigger than their mama. They are all, of course, the most adorable things in the world. Cupcake is all fun and games, just as a puppy should be. She loves her siblings and they play together and snuggle up together. Just a darling mass of silky black fur and round tummies.
Buddy Messages (1)
Cupcake is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Jennifer Campbell, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "You are such an adorable dog! We are certain that someone will feel the same way we do and adopt you! With the best of luck and all our love - Jennifer, Bryan and Riley" Cupcake sends Jennifer, Bryan and Riley many happy, grateful puppy hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
