Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Nebraska.

This darling little one was rescued in Texas by some dear friends of the shelter and driven clear to Nebraska. She is such an all-around good dog, one that is just happy and fun all the time. She loves to play with humans, other dogs and squeaky toys. She is just a ray of sunshine and we cannot say enough wonderful things about her. OK. Well, she may have just one very small flaw. Darcie thinks cats are evil rodents that should not be permitted to reside on the planet. She really, really does not enjoy the cats and although we do have to laugh at her rather dramatic reactions to them, it is certainly best that she goes to a home where one does not reside.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddies, Peg and Tim Ickes and their furkids, from New Mexico, sent her this message: "Darcie, you have beautiful and inquisitive eyes, and it is obvious in your pictures that you will be a very bright ray of sunshine in your new home! Keep on playing, and we know your forever family will come for you soon!" Darcie sends Tim and Peg and their furbabies many grateful hugs, kisses and happy cuddles!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
