Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dewey and his brother Huey were found abandoned in the yard of a courthouse in Nebraska. Considering the winter weather out here, it's a miracle they survived for more than an hour. They are the tiniest of babies, expected to reach about 4 pounds by adulthood. They are both typical, adorable puppies who are all fun and games. They love everything. They bounce and play and cry for human attention when they get bored with each other. They scramble and climb all over the gentle, big dogs like they are hiking over a giant mountain. They are all happiness and silliness and best of all, they still have that delicious wonder called "puppy breath."
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Kimberly Isada from Anchorage, AK, sent him this message: "Dewey, you are such a darling boy, and I am so sorry that you were mistreated before. The good people at HUA will be sure that you find a great family, and I bet that will happen quickly because you are so precious! I wish you happiness and love!" Dewey sends Kimberly many happy little kisses and lots of hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
