Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dovey was rescued from the Auburn pound when it was evacuated by the state of Nebraska. The conditions there was some of the worst we've ever seen, even though the woman who ran the place called herself a "rescuer." Nonetheless, Dovey is just plain adorable. At 2 years old, she is still very much puppy-like in her enthusiastic love of life. She plays, she runs, she kisses, she hugs. She absolutely delights in being outside and playing in the yard. An all around wonderful kid.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Kristin Gill, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Dovey, You are a gorgeous girl and we are thrilled to be a part of your road to a wonderful new life. Your loving buddies, Kristin, Robert, Frida, and Stella" Dovey sends Kristin, Robert, Frida and Stella many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
