Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Fernando was rescued from a Nebraska puppy mill. He is a super fun, spunky, adorable little guy. His caregivers say he acts like a teenager and his little tail never stops wagging! He is celebrating his new found freedom and gleefully runs around to let everyone know just how very happy he is. Fernando lights up a room. We can't help but smile when we see this precious boy enjoying his new life so very much. Fernando is a male Chihuahua. He was born 1/9/01 and weighs 9 pounds.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Stephanie Cabral, from Kingsport, Tennessee, sent him this message: "Good luck finding your new home Fernando! Your friends, Boots, Darla & Miles" Fernando sends many special Chihuahua boy hugs and kisses to Stephanie, Boots, Darla and Miles.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
