Homeward bound-ADOPTED!

This precious senior lady was found with her sister, Mozzarella, sitting in a box outside of an animal clinic, left there sometime during the night. Who could toss out two little old ladies like that? We don't know and we don't want to know. What is clear is that the Cheese Girls find HUA a LOVELY place to live. They have absolutely no idea that they are not spring chickens. Feta is the more outgoing of the two, although they are both full of personality. They love their toys, they play fetch with their balls, they give sloppy kisses and jump for joy when the volunteers take them out for a romp. Feta doesn't have a tooth left in her mouth, but it bothers her none at all. She is just an amazing granny with plenty of bounce left in her step. The Cheese Girls do not have to be adopted together. Feel free to do so if you want to, though.
Buddy Messages (2)
Her Buddy, Claudia Franks, sent her this message: "with love from nellie and her memory of flora". Feta sends Claudia, Michael and Nellie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.
Her Buddy, Lynda Racey, from Plymouth, Michigan, sent her this message: "Feta, your gorgeous grey face reminds me of my 13yr old lucky Loki who is also a doxie who lives with me in a safe, warm home. I hope you find a forever home very soon!" Feta sends Lynda and Loki many happy, grateful dachshund girl hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
