Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living in North Dakota.

Florence was born and bred in one of the most horrific puppy mills in the state of Missouri. She totally doesn't care about her nasty past. She put it all behind her and refuses to look back, as she is way too busy living it up. She is making up for all the awful days she suffered through by bouncing through the yards and romping around with her little friends. As with most Malteses, she is a sharp little one who figures things out right away. She has decided that snuggling up to humans is the perfect thing to do after a full day of playing and checking things out - a perfectly normal thing to do when you're a beloved dog, but not always the behavior of a dog from a mill as bad as where Florence lived. We are super proud of this tiny little warrior who sees nothing but the best in people and loves us all despite her beginnings.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Anita Hoppenrath, from Andover, Minnesota, sent her this message: "Hi Florence - The minute I saw you I knew I had to be your buddy. You have endured so much, but are now in the safest place you could be with the most wonderful people to care for you. I wish I could hold and hug you. Take Care - Anita" Florence sends Anita many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
