Now living happily in Manhattan, Kansas.
Foxheart's freedom was purchased by a kind-hearted rescuer at a dog auction in Iowa. The rescuer took one look at this pathetic, sad, depressed, tiny creature and knew she had to save him. She did not know where she could keep him, or who could take him, but she knew she had to find a way for him to have a chance at happiness. We were honored to take our little fox in and teach him that most people are loving and good and caring. Foxheart was a little shy when he came to HUA, but he wanted to trust and he is learning that life with humans is just fine. He is a mild-mannered, good boy who is nice to the other dogs. He loves the great outdoors and the feeling of the grass tickling his little toes makes him sigh with contentment. He appreciates all the little things that so many of us take for granted - a soft bed, good food, kind words, gentle touches. Now, the only thing he really needs, and really deserves, is his very own home, the wonders of which will amaze this sensitive, darling boy.
