be my buddy
Born: 02/24/2010
3 lbs

Homeward bound-adopted.

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Poor Jenny. Our adoption coordinator begged us, "NO. PLEASE. NO PUPPIES ON THE WEBSITE. NOT YET." She knows her inbox will be absolutely flooded with applications and she will be up for hours every night trying to answer everybody. We love Jenny and we want her to be happy, but we can't help it if we have PUPPIES. We can't help it if the cuteness is too much to bear. BUT WE HAVE BABY PUPPIES and we want to show them off. So, here is Valma's baby girl, Fudge. Fudge and her siblings were born at the shelter after their mama was given to us during the puppy mill rescue in January. Fudge is starting to show us a little spunk and we laugh that she doesn't let her brothers boss her around one bit. She was vaguely irritated with us during her photo debut. Obviously, she had better things to do. Like eat and sleep. Fudge and her brothers will be available to go home soon, as will their mommy. This is going to be fun!! Sorry, Jenny.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Jennifer Miller, from Sterling, Virginia, sent her this message: "You look soo cute. that is a perfect name for you." Fudge sends Jennifer many happy, grateful puppy hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
