Homeward bound adopted!

Ginger was found in Missouri, having been abandoned by her people. She was cold, scared and confused. Nobody, including Ginger, can figure out how her family could do such a horribly cruel thing, as she is an angel. She is super friendly, really smart, social, obedient, polite and well-mannered. She loves to play but is also very fond of curling up next to a person for some R and R. She knows how to sit, stay and shake. She sits prettily before and after her walks, waiting nicely for her leash to be put on and taken off. We can't find a single word to descibe Ginger that is not completely complimentary. Her temperament is that wonderful. Ginger will blend in with any type of family, including ones with other dogs, as long as she is promised she will never, ever be left to fend for herself again. The poor dear has had her share of that.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Victoria Driver from Chicago, IL, sent her this message: "Ginger - there are better days ahead for you. In fact, your new life has already started now that you are at HUA. Best wishes to you sweet girl." Ginger sends Victoria many happy handshakes and grateful kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
