Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Hardy was brought to us by a former HUA employee after he was abandoned at a farm in Missouri. He is an absolute character! His tilts his little head from side to side when we talk to him, as if to say, "Hm. Really? Now how about that toy?" He patrols the shelter making sure everyone knows he owns the place. We don't tell him otherwise as it is quite entertaining to watch him strut his stuff. When he is finished showing off, he never fails to get some serious hugging and kissing from whomever is in the room with him. He insists on it. Hardy usually likes other dogs just fine, especially when everyone is outside at recess. On the other, he is a tad superior so certainly doesn't require a canine companion. Hardy's just an all-around awesome guy.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Elisha Smith, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Hardy is so cute! I wish I could adopt him myself but I already have a zoo! I hope Hardy gets a great home and wonderful family!" Hardy sends Elisha many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
