Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Hester and Halona were rescued from a particularly nasty puppy in Nebraska. Shelties from mills often come in with their spirits so crushed that we wonder if they'll ever recover. They are wise and sensitive and very easily lose hope when they are neglected or abused. Hesper, however, did not let those millers steal her soul. She is so sweet and not afraid of people in the least. She loves to play, which brings us such joy. She is quiet and calm and ladylike. All of these wonderful attributes aside, Hester is lovely. She sports such unique colors and markings, and her beautiful brown eyes really are the windows to her soul. She is so expressive that just one look at her, and you immediately know what she is thinking - and now, after she is finally safe and sound, they are always contented and happy thoughts.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Kathy Abrams, from Palos Verdes Estates, California, sent her this message: "Pretty girl, we hope you find your new home soon. Yogi, Izzy and Stella" Hesper sends Kathy, Yogi, Izzy and Stella many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
