Now living happily in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Inky Do is such a happy, curious little girl. She was rescued from a South Dakota puppy mill. She lost 11 teeth at her first vet visit and she feels so much better now. Inky has such big expressions and loves to check out her new surroundings. She wags her tail with delight at her freedom and comfort at the shelter. She still can't quite bring herself to come all the way up to humans for affection, but she wants to. She is working on it. She sees the other dogs receiving love and attention and thinks it looks great but she just can't muster the courage yet to think that people would for sure be nice to her. She really wants to believe it's true though. Perhaps your family might be right for Inky Do. Maybe you will be the special one to bring her around and teach her that good things are meant for her too and help her forget her past as a breeding machine at the puppy mill. We know that Inky is close to forgetting the worst and letting herself go to trust completely that her life will be fabulous from now on. She is such a lovable little character that we don't think it will take long for her to make amazing progress to become completely carefree.
