Homeward Bound - Adopted! Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska

Jack once had a family of his own and he was quite the happy boy. Unfortunately, the gorgeous guy came down with a bad case of bladder stones and his family could no longer afford to care for him. HUA took him in and had his stones removed and he feels much, much better. Jack is on a special diet and eats his food all up like a good boy. He is a quiet, understanding little man who is never a bit of trouble. He loves play time, meal time, nap time, every time. Jack gets along just fine in any situation and is a real easy liver. His heart is big and his needs are few. He just wants to go back to the home life, and promises to be a well-behaved, grateful boy for his lucky new family.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Heather Vanderslice, from Seward, NE, sent him this message: "Jack, you are too cute for words. Sorry about your health issues, but what a lucky doggie you are to be at HUA where they love you and care about you. I hope you get adopted soon, but until then, I'm happy to be your buddy. -Heather" Jack agrees that he IS pretty cute, and sends Heather oodles of grateful kisses and very happy hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
