Jed

be my buddy
Vizsla/Heeler Mix
Born: 06/01/2011
Medium
33 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jed was brought to the shelter by his former owner who got him as a baby without thinking it through. Puppies are work, people! It was sad to see Jed lose his family, but we know we will find him a family that will be able to spend time with him and show him that he is loved and worth a whole bunch of attention. He has been SUCH a good boy here and he listens well to us. He can play for days, because that's what youngsters do. He is smart and is learning commands quite quickly. He is doing a great job on the leash and knows when he sees it that good times are ahead. He is a very kissy guy and likes to be held and cuddled. We indulge him because he's just that cute. Jed will be thrilled when he finds his forever family and goes to the place where he knows he belongs.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Kitty Araiyama, from Dexter, Oregon, sent him this message: "Hey, Lovie, we are thinking of you and know you will find the perfect home to guard, love, and thrive in. Biscuit, Chooey, Bella" Jed sends Kitty, Biscuit, Chooey and Bella many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
