Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Jillie was found wandering as a stray. We had no idea what had happened with her. She was adopted out fairly quickly and then, her heart got broken. Her person became severely disabled and was no longer able to care for her, and she was returned to HUA. Jillie needs a new home and she needs it now. She is a sensitive, emotional little drama queen that feels she just does not belong with us. She is brilliant and house broken and just an all around funny kid. You can tell from her pictures that getting her belly rubbed is her favorite past time. She is shameless when it comes to belly rubs. Jillie tells us she has had a nice time visiting the shelter, but she is now SO OVER it and needs to be picked up and carried off to home, please.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Debra Overland, from Newtonville, Massachusetts, sent her this message: "Sweet Jillie! I am sending you kisses and belly rubs in the hopes that you find your forever home; all our love-Debra & Rufus" Jillie sends Debra and Rufus many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
