be my buddy
Born: 01/19/2008
12 lbs

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Buffalo, North Dakota.

Jocko fell victim to the bad economy and his people left him at a city pound with a high euthanasia rate. This was double bad news for Jocko. Fortunately a friend of HUA recognized that Jocko needed help and brought him to us. Jocko was very happy to be rescued and is doing great. He is such a happy, friendly, loving, silly little guy. He is energetic and adventurous. He loves to play with chew toys and run around with the other dogs. He has such a happy-go-lucky outlook on life that he has fun no matter what he is doing. He is a delightful young fellow! He would very much like to be in a home where people will love him, play with him and take him for walks.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddy, Lara Johnson, from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, sent him this message: "Hi Jocko! Hope you find a wonderful & loving home very soon. This buddy message is in memory of George, the Wonder Pug. Love, Lara, Josh, Chewie, Kiboko, Lunchbox, & Annie." Jocko sends Lara, Josh, Chewie, Kiboko, Lunchbox & Annie many happy, grateful Pug boy hugs and kisses.
His Buddy, Tayler Lindenstruth, from Papillion, Nebraska, sent him this message: "My name is Tayler, and I think Jocko is very cute. I hope Jocko gets adopted soon, and that his new family loves Jocko as much as I do. May he always have loving friends and companions." Jocko sends Tayler many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
