Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Kazoo was a sad case when he made it to the shelter. He and his best friend, Banjo, were found wandering around the streets of a small town in Nebraska. The two boys were filthy, with clumps of matted hair covered in fleas. They were so grateful to be safe and cleaned up and fed, you could see the "thank you" in their eyes. Kazoo is a huge hit with the workers and volunteers at the shelter. He is pure love. He has fun playing with his friends and adores curling up in his favorite people's laps. He is an all around nice, very smart guy who has charmed all of us. Not to mention that he's downright adorable. It's clear Kazoo was in a home before, as he is completely HOUSEBROKEN and really just quite the little gentleman. We hope his forever people come for him soon. Our Kazoo deserves some major spoiling and some serious lap time.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Shaena Buffington, from Wichita, Kansas, sent him this message: "When I saw you, I just melted! You remind me of my old dog and he was such a sweetheart! I hope you find a loving family soon!" Kazoo sends Shaena many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
