Kenyon

be my buddy
Schnauzer
Born: 11/15/2004
Small
16 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Missouri.

Kenyon is absolutely stunning. He is regal and well-mannered and sweet. He was born and bred in a puppy mill and we're sure must've been a very popular guy for his miller. We are so thankful he's been released from the filth and grime of his former residence. Kenyon is eager to please and can be just a little shy upon first meetings. He sort of peers at you with his eyes narrowed, sizing you up as he decides you're someone good. He does warm up fairly quickly, and can often be seen during recess leaning up against a volunteer's leg for a nice pat. Kenyon will do so well in a home atmosphere. He is a grateful, unassuming boy that very much deserves his own place in a family.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Kayte Tranel, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Kenyon, I cannot wait for you to find a home. Whomever adopts you will be very fortunate to have such a fantastic companion. My schnauzers and I will be thinking of you every day, hoping you find the perfect match! Kayte" Kenyon sends Kayte many happy, grateful schnauzer boy hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
