Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lawrence, Kansas.

Astonishingly, this adorable little bundle of fun and love was found wandering the streets of a town in Kansas, too innocent to have any idea how to take care of himself. He had to have belonged to somebody, and we just cannot understand how he ended up alone and lost. It just doesn't make an ounce of sense. Once we got to know Kepler, it became even more confusing, as he is a pure people dog. He is absolutely hilarious and has us in stitches with his with his crazy antics. He is emotional and dramatic and very much the prince of all things. He cherishes recess above all other things in life and encourages everyone to have big fun. Kepler is a conversation piece. Stories about him will live on forever. He is just that special a dog.
Buddy Messages (1)
His buddy, Lisa Levesque of Derry, NH, sent him this message: "Kepler you are so adorable, the family that adopts you is going to be very lucky. I can tell by your eyes you are an amazing little guy." Kepler sends Lisa, HUA Alum - Jora, and the entire Levesque family many happy tail wags and grateful kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
