Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Colorado.

This miniature puff of fur has so much personality that we can't quite figure out how he fits it all into that tiny body. Kuma is one funny little bug who loves everything we do for him as long as it's fun. He spent many years in a home until he became slightly cantankerous around the grandchildren. Kuma had thought HE was the baby and did not appreciate being replaced. When he got his first check-up at HUA it was discovered that he had never had a dental exam, and he subsequently lost every tooth in his mouth. We were horrified. This is a dog that should be pampered, spoiled and fussed over, never neglected. Despite his disappointments, Kuma is a spunky, happy little guy who seeks out attention and gets plenty of it. We have told him that we are working hard to find him a home and he tells us in his bouncy, perky way that he thinks this is a fantastic idea.

His Buddy, Marti McMillen, from Overland Park, Kansas, sent him this message: "Too cute! Hope you find a forever home that fits your personality! Your friends~Dave, Marti, Missy & MR" Kuma sends Marti, Dave, Missy and MR many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
