Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Nebraska.

Libra would very much love a home and a family of his own. He was rescued from a terrible puppy mill that closed. He has the biggest, happiest smile. He lost 13 teeth but that doesn't stop him from loving life. He was adopted to a wonderful family and was in love with the adults and the kids. Unfortunately the other dog in the house decided he would like to be an only dog and was very mean to Libra. Libra tried to win him over but they just couldn't work it out. He is broken-hearted to lose his family and would love to have another family to call his own soon. He is a big lover who adores being held and hugged. While he likes the people and other dogs at the shelter he now knows what having a home means and is desperate to have that again soon. Libra is a world class snuggler, gets along with everyone and will make a wonderful companion. He is happy and playful, very much making up for lost time at the rotten puppy mill. Will you give this sweet little guy a chance to win your heart?
Buddy Messages (3)
His Buddies, the Arnold family, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Dear Libra, You were Louie to us....and we loved you very much. We are so very sorry our Milton didn't take kindly to you as you are the sweetest little doggie we have ever known! You amazed us every day at your ability to love after so many years in a terrible puppy mill. We will pray every day that someone comes for you - to give you the forever home you deserve so much. We send all our love and kisses to you. Love, from the Arnolds, Omaha, Ne" Libra sends his former family, the Arnolds, many happy, grateful hugs and kisses and thanks for taking such great care of him and teaching him all about love and happiness.
His Buddy, Enid Kreiner, from Hanover, Pennsylvania, sent him this message: "You are so dear, you will not need me for long. I am sure you will find a great new home very soon." Libra sends Enid many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
