Max

be my buddy
Labradoodle
Born: 09/01/2011
Medium
45 lbs
Male

Homeward Bound! Adopted!!! Now living happily in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Max was brought to the shelter by people who took him home, then realized that the other dog in the house did not want canine company. As easy-going and affable as Max is, that dog must REALLY want to be left alone. That old grump did nothing to deter Max from loving other dogs, though, and he has so much fun playing with his friends. He just loves it! Mindy, his girly boxer friend, is a particular favorite and the two of them have hours of silly fun. This sweet fellow will do great in just about any family environment. He is a gorgeous, gentle young man with a giant heart and a sunny outlook.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Bridget Rennie, from Fort Collins, Colorado, sent him this message: "Max soon you will be in your forever home. You will be well loved and cared for." Max sends Bridget many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
