Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

This gorgeous girl was unceremoniously dumped on a farm in Falls City. Oddly, her teeth are worn down as if she chewed and chewed on something. Maybe in order to escape? Whatever the circumstances, she is certainly not trying to escape any longer! There are some rumblings around the shelter that Mora may have been a service dog before coming to us. The man who brought her in thought so also due to the metal collar she wore. Whether or not, she is brilliant. Mora watches everything, is very tuned in to people, and sits on command before we can actually get the whole word out of our mouths. As if she knows what we're thinking! She appears to be supremely well trained and is just a calm, nice, great dog. We love how her entire body wiggles when she wags her tail. It is a riot to see.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddies, Jen and Gary Childress, from Des Moines, Iowa, sent her this message: "Mora, You're a gorgeous girl and touched our hearts. We send you hugs and belly rubs. Jen & Gary Childress" Mora sends Jen and Gary many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
