Chihuahua Papillon Mix
Now living happily in Aurora, CO.
Neal was brought to the shelter by the lady who owned him, but had decided that she didn't like his hair. We're sure it's obvious how we feel about that. But we're happy to have the little guy with us because he was not treated nicely by that woman. He was a little fearful of people when he got here, as if he expected to be punished at any moment. He has overcome that fear after learning that most people are nice and want nothing more than to love him. He has become playful and happy and carefree. He adores all the attention he gets and runs up to us every day as if it's been years since he's seen us. He makes us giggle at his enthusiasm and it is just so heartwarming to know that he is happy now. As a matter of fact, the only thing that can make Neal happier is a new home. He sure deserves it after being treated so unfairly in the one he had. He will attach himself to his new folks and be the best little friend they've ever known.
