Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We busted Nigel and a few of his wonderful poodly friends out of a nasty puppy mill in Nebraska. The conditions there were beyond disgusting and we felt very lucky that the tiny creatures weren't sick or dying. Actually, they're not even sad or scared, which is simply amazing. Nigel is a tiny little poot with a fabulous Poodle wiggle and a yearning for learning. He was a tad bit stand-offish when he arrived, but it was clear that he knew good things were happening. He was happy to be held and cuddled and delighted to participate in the comings and goings of all the fun activities here. We think he's a dog that has big things in store for him - reports from his forever home will undoubtedly include words such as PRECIOUS, SMART, ADORABLE, CUDDLY, HAPPY, PRANCY and PERFECT.

Nigel sends Sophie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
