Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Franklin, NH

Oxford is such a beautiful boy. When he first arrived he was covered in filth with clumps hanging off of him. He and his pals arrived from a dog hoarding situation. He wasn't too sure about baths at first, but once everyone told him how fabulous he looked he decided they were ok. He is a soulful, friendly fellow who is very grateful to be rescued. He is friendly with people and other dogs. We could watch his face for hours. His expressions are so delightful and funny. We always know just what he is thinking. Oxford will be a perfect pal for the lucky family who gets to bring him home. He will be so happy when that day comes.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Mary McWilliams, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "You are so precious. I love your big black nose and beautiful eyes. I pray you find a forever family soon." Beautiful Oxford sends Mary many happy kisses and lots of very inquisitive looks and smiles!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
