Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Royse City, TX

Palau is so happy to be free from the awful South Dakota puppy mill where he lived for the first 6 months of his life. He is a precious boy who is making up for lost time. He loves to spend the day playing with the other pups at Hearts United for Animals. He thinks toys are the most fun thing ever invented and also likes to follow his favorite people around expressing his opinions and letting them know when he thinks it is time for breakfast or to go outside and play. He is a world class snuggler, something he learned quickly after his arrival at HUA. In addition to be gorgeous he is fun, sweet, happy and just a perfect little friend. He is full of personality and loving all the new experiences that life has to offer. We know he will be beside himself with joy when he finds a perfect home and family to call his own.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddy, Ann White, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Hey little guy --- you look JUST like a little black poodle we had --- for NINETEEN years!!! Anyone who decides you are their forever pooch is getting all sorts of bonuses, the first being they will have you for a long long time. The second is that poodles are SOOOO smart. They will be able to teach you anything they want in no time. Our little guy was housebroken in three days -- so I'm challenging you Palau, to beat that record when your forever family comes to get you! In the meantime, you are soooo lucky. You have HUA watching over you, AND you have TWO BUDDIES! Things are lookin' up for you!!!!! Palau thinks Ann is wonderful for loving poodles and sends her many happy hugs and grateful kisses!
His Buddies, Chuck and Lynette Mohr, from Lowell, MA, sent him this message: "Abby Poodle and her family, the Mohrs, think you're just THE most precious poodle boy! We're so sorry for your awful puppy mill experience but know that the rest of your life will be gravy (train)! Love to you little sweetie! Chuck, Lynette, Abby, Sugar and Sandi XO" Palau sends Abby, Sugar and Sandi lots of playful tail wags, and sends Chuck and Lynette oodles of grateful kisses and cuddles!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
