Yorkie
Born: 05/05/2007
Tiny
5 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Shenandoah, Iowa.

This darling, tiny sweetie pie was rescued from a puppy mill in South Dakota. Other than some nasty teeth that needed immediate attention, he is a happy, healthy little critter with the best of Yorkie traits. He is smart as a whip and loves when we talk to him. He listens so carefully that we're certain he understands just about every word. He adores being cuddled and kissed on. He is curious and attentive to his surroundings, getting a great big kick out of perusing the big yards, learning all about neat things like grass and birds and bees and squirrels. We love watching him soak everything in and know that saving this soul was a gift to everyone who will ever have the pleasure of coming into his life.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Margaret Aalberg, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Pierre--you look so much like my little Joey (AKA as Momma's Bud). I bet you're just as sweet as he was--and you are just as cute!" Pierre sends Margaret and Joey many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
