Yorkshire Terrier

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Auburn, Nebraska.

Pixie was brought by her owners to an animal clinic in Omaha for swallowing a marble. HUA was called to fund the operation and the people decided to turn her over to our care completely after her successful surgery. Pixie is what we like to call a live wire. She is one hilarious little creature with a Yorkie mind of her own and the most adorable antics. This tiny pistol wants to run around and do all sorts of wild things. We laugh until we cry over her many bold adventures. She is so smart and so cute that we sometimes just sit back and watch her do her thing in the hopes of witnessing yet another great trick she's been keeping up her sleeve. Pixie is busy but also unspoiled and sweet and utterly entertaining with her moxy and go-getter disposition. She will provide a lifetime of giggles and super stories.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Maurine Roller and her furkids from Alliance, NE, sent her this message: "Dear little Pixie, you are such a sweetie and there is a forever home for you that will appreciate all that you offer. We are loved and appreciated in our forever home! Love, Taz, Bella, Trio and our mom Maurine" Pixie sends Taz, Bella, Trio and Maurine many grateful kisses and very happy tail wags!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
