Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Nebraska.

Rani came from a Nebraska puppy mill that was going out of business. She is very loving and clings to people for comfort. She is always nervous that good things might not last for her. She has been to a vet in Omaha twice for complete tissues removal down both sides of her body. She was riddled with mammary tumors. Fortunately the pathology was good, it was caught in time to save her life. Later she went back for removal of an enlarged lymph gland which was also found to be benign. Her surgeries were painful and required a lengthy recovery. She is well behaved and very sweet. We can't wait for her to know life in a home and only happiness after suffering ten long years in a mill and then multiple operations. She lost many teeth at her vet visit but still has a few left. She is a charming girl who is so very delicate and precious. Sometimes when she is feeling happy or curious her ears stand straight up which is exceptionally adorable!
Buddy Messages (2)
Her Buddy, Harriet Guberman, sent her this message: "What a sweet, brave girl. I'll be your Buddy until someone swoops you up for their own!" Rani sends Harriet many sweet, happy Poodle girl kisses.
Her Buddy, Cynthis Romeo, from Gainesville, Virginia, sent her this message: "My Bichon Allie and I send you best wishes to find a wonderful home in the New Year." Rani sends Cynthis and Allie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
