Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Brookings, South Dakota.

Reddick and his lovely sisters were rescued from one of the most horrible puppy mills we've been to in Missouri. They were cold and deprived of medical care and good nutrition, but they made the best of it. They are fun loving, playful, amazing little pups. They are all thriving at HUA. Reddick (aka Hollywood because he is such a ham) was the first to learn that people and toys and freedom are really cool - even if it means being dressed up in silly outfits by the humans. He throws back his head and laughs at our goofiness. We return the favor. He is like a gangly, goofy teenager who hasn't grown into his body yet. His legs are growing so fast that he doesn't know what to do with them. The very best part about Reddick is that he is a wonderful kisser. He puckers up his lips like a human and just plants one on us. It is the cutest thing we've ever seen.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Julie Oaks, from Yoder, Wyoming, sent him this message: "Hi Reddick, you are so cute and full of life and energy! I know you will find a new forever home soon and you will be able to plant one of those kisses right on your new mommy or daddys lips! Sending you kisses!" Reddick sends Julie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
