Rocket Man Featured

be my buddy
Born: 06/02/2010
12 lbs

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Jackson, Michigan.

Rocket Man was born in a puppy mill in Nebraska. Luckily, we were able to bust him out of there before he could even reach his 3rd birthday. He is a total charmer. He is still feeling us out just a bit to make sure we're as cool as he thinks, and as a result he has become a total flirt. He wants to be friends so badly that he has conjured up the cutest little act to let us know he's happy. He dances and wiggles and his body is diffused with joy at the mere thought of being loved. He has learned to play quickly and enjoys the time he spends at recess with his new dog friends. Rocket Man is delightful. His family will have the incredible experience of watching him totally conquer any doubts he has left and become a confident, adoring, loyal, happy little camper.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Cheryl White, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent him this message: "You are such a special little guy. I wish I could bring you home and give you lots of hugs and kisses. Hopefully, you will find a special place soon." Rocket Man sends Cheryl many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
