Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Roxy had a rough start. We aren't sure what happened to her.
Someone found her huddled in their shed in the freezing cold weather. They took her to the local convenience station on their way to work, knowing that the HUA employees visit there often to pick up pizza for staff lunches. Soon a confused but happy Roxy was on her way to HUA, sharing some tasty pizza with her new friends on the ride to the shelter. Roxy is all puppy. She is a such a fun loving, playful, happy little girl. She is very smart and could not be more adorable. Her eyes are captivating and her coloring is totally gorgeous. This little sweetie has us wrapped around her adorable spotted paws! Fully grown Roxy will probably be the size of a very small heeler.
Buddy Messages (2)
Her Buddy, Rodney Richardson, from Camp Victory, Iraq, sent her this message: "Hey cutie! I hope to adopt you when I get back from Iraq...unless someone else beats me too it. I wish you all the best..." Roxy sends Rodney many happy, grateful puppy hugs and kisses.
Her Buddy, Edna Shattuck, from Washtington, Oregon, sent her this message: "What a beautiful little girl you are! Here's hoping that you'll be in a loving forever home very soon." Roxy sends Edna many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
