Rumba

be my buddy
Chihuahua
Born: 09/09/2004
Tiny
6 lbs
Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in New York.

Little Rumba is another former resident of a horrible mill in the midwest. She was part of a large rescue that brought to us many broken, infected, emotionally distraught tiny dogs. Rumba lost many teeth, which is sad. The loss of the teeth makes her tongue stick out, which is cute. Rumba was probably bred many, many times due to her lovely markings. Her belly is rounded from all of her pregnancies. She is having a great time playing with her pals and coming around to wanting to check us out, too. Rumba will be a little shy at first, but it's easy to see that little sparkle in her eyes that tell us there's a spunky little chihuahua in there!
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Margaret Aalberg, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Rumba--you have the same cute little tongue that my Berkley has. (He doesn't have many teeth either.) Berkley sends his love and kisses." Rumba sends Margaret and her good-looking boy Berkley many happy, grateful kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
