Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Safari and Kenya are sisters who were found as strays on one of the coldest winter nights in Nebraska. They were starving and terrified. Luckily, their rescuer was able to safely capture them and send them into the loving arms at HUA. Safari is stunning. She is the sweetest soul and loves everyone without prejudice. She is also one clever girl - she and Kenya have figured out the art of imitating mountain goats. While we are on the floor playing or feeding their friends, they leap onto our backs in order to get a better view of the comings and goings. Safari and Kenya are bonded after their ordeal but we do not think they need to be adopted together. We only wish for solid, loving homes for these wonderful girls who have brought such joy to us.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Chuck Mohr, from Alamogordo, New Mexico, sent her this message: "You look so beautiful and happy. I hope you find your forever home soon." Safari sends Chuck many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
