Homeward bound-adopted!

Shoeshine is a BEAGLE, true to the breed through and through. He is energetic and curious and wants to know everything that is going on in the world. He romps in the yard with gusto, feverishly sniffing out bunnies and squirrels and all other great smelling critters. Shoeshine's previous owner was a senior citizen who found that taking care of a puppy was a tad more work than he had anticipated. Shoeshine is no worse for the wear and knows he needs a home that wants an active companion rather than a dull one. He gets on great with his room-mates and is a joyous soul who celebrates each day with a wide grin and lots of exuberant tail wagging. Shoeshine has asked that we tell you all that he does not prefer humans of the child variety. He thinks they are kinda crazy and they work on his last nerve. He would also like you all to know that they're the only things in the world that bug him. Other than kids, Shoeshine thinks all things are JUST GREAT.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Vickie Case, from Brattleboro, Vermont, sent him this message: "Hi Shoeshine, I am so happy to be your buddy. You have a great smile and look like such a playful guy. I hope you find a forever family soon, but until then I am happy to be your buddy. Big doggie hugs, Vickie" Shoeshine sends Vickie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
