Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Sloan is a handsome, sleek, friendly guy who makes us laugh out loud with his goofy antics. He is so well-behaved and gentlemanly while he is indoors that you'd think he was the mellowest of all creatures. Let him outside to play, however, and giant parties commence. He LOVES romping and playing and dashing about, sniffing and wiggling and dancing with the pure joy of it all. He is hilarious when he's "doing his thing," and yet so mannerly when it is rest time that it's almost like having two different dogs. Sloan was found abandoned in the country, and we fear he would have frozen death had he not been rescued when he was. We are so happy that he and now safe and sound, in a place where he can play with the other big dogs and the humans, and delight in his treats and toys. Sloan is certain to provide his new family with a lifetime of love and laughter.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Christy Meyen from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Sloan, So glad you made your way to HUA. Sending you love and puppy snuggles. We know you will find your forever home soon! Christy, Chance, Chelsea, Brody, Scarlett, and Higgins." Sloan sends the entire Meyen family happy dances and many grateful kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
