Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

This darling, tiny gentleman spent the first 11 years of his life in a disgusting puppy mill in Missouri. Not one of us can figure out how he came out of that place and is as loving and sweet to people as Stuart is. The miller's note on him said that his back had been broken in three places. As horrifying as this information was, it was in no way accurate. We rested this little boy for a very long time, but he never showed any signs of a bad back. He loves to zoom down the hallway, in search of friends old and new. He adores everyone. Those huge black eyes really communicate to us how much he loves us. He is a cuddler and a player. He delights in this life of his. Stuart Little has only 3 teeth left, but he doesn't let that stop him from enjoying his crunchy, delicious treats. He is also a very good friend to all the little dogs and loves to watch them play from a person's lap. He joins in now and again, then back to a lap he goes. Stuart Little is a very special boy and belongs in an equally special home.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
